Every BURUZYA piece is made by hand, one stitch at a time. We have a quality checklist for finishing, stitch density, and edges — because craftsmanship without standards is just craft.
Small by choice
We produce in limited quantities and made-to-order. Not because we can't scale — but because flooding the market is the opposite of what we stand for. Your piece was not sitting in a warehouse.
Made in Türkiye. Worn in Europe.
Our work is rooted in Anatolian motif tradition and textile expertise that spans decades. We bring that directly to European customers — with EU-based returns handled from the Netherlands.

Your piece enters the atelier. Hand-crocheted to our finishing checklist. This takes time — and that is exactly the point.
We inspect & ship
Before anything leaves Türkiye, it passes a final quality check. Then it ships directly to your EU address.
Returns from NL
If anything is not right, returns are handled from our Netherlands address. No international return shipping for EU customers.

Things people usually ask us
Most pieces are made to order and take 2–4 weeks from confirmation to delivery, depending on the piece. Ready-to-ship items are noted clearly on their product page and ship within 3–5 business days.
Yes. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery and are handled from our Netherlands address — no international return shipping for EU customers. The piece must be unworn and in its original condition.
Entirely. Every BURUZYA piece is crocheted by hand, one stitch at a time, by Hülya or a trained maker in our community. There is no machine-assisted production.
Each product page includes a detailed sizing guide. Because our pieces are handmade, there can be a 1–2cm natural variation — which we consider a mark of authenticity, not inconsistency. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up. For made-to-order pieces you can also specify your measurements.
We use quality yarn selected for softness, durability, and colour consistency. Material details are listed on each product page. We are expanding our sustainable material options — look for the material note on individual listings.
For some pieces, yes. The configurator on our website lets you choose from a curated motif and colour palette. For requests outside those options, contact us directly — we will tell you honestly whether it is possible.
In Denizli, Türkiye — one of the country's most important textile cities. Hülya's atelier is based there. This is where BURUZYA's craft identity comes from.

We ship across Europe. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout based on your country. If you are outside Europe, contact us before ordering.
Hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent. Lay flat to dry — never hang, as crochet can stretch. Store folded. A care card is included with every order.
